Nickie B has over 25 years of bodywork experience and creates a spa atmosphere while maintaining a clinical base. The 2-years after earning the massage certification, Nickie shadowed her mentor Michael Tonetti, a known professor, and author in the Chico, CA massage circle. She went on to apply her skills in hospitals, chiropractor offices, a medical spa, and physical therapy office, which gave her an even wider understanding and knowledge of the systems: musculature, lymphatic, circulatory, and connective tissues. From that time of helping post and pre-surgery patients her passion for bodywork really flourished. The semi-professional sports teams in Chico, CA, Rooks and Heat have called on Nickie to apply sports massage therapy to their athletes. When one of those athletes went on to compete in the Olympics, Nickie remained his therapist throughout that intense process. Doula birth coaches have also called on Nickie's expertise to ease the body's rapid changes of their clients during prenatal care.
